Bill Johnson ‘Everybody’s Doing It’

This cassette by one Bill Johnson came out as a supplement to William Furlong‘s Audio Arts Magazine Vol. 6 No1, 1983.  This couple of hilarious, catchy, New Wave-y tracks is based on an interview with (presumably) art critic Johnson about his impressions of an unnamed exhibition, possibly at a Venice Biennale. It is thus in line with Audio Art’s usual output of art curators lectures and artist’s interviews and the interview-based Accent for a Start LP I posted earlier.

01 Everybody’s Doing It (6:31)
02 Everybody’s Doing It (dub) (6:30)

Total time 13:01
Cassette released by Audio Arts Magazine, UK, 1983

Hey there, in case you haven’t noticed this post’s hyperlink doesn’t appear in the “contents” section. Anyways, awesome blog, got to it thanks to Ubu, been trying to download every single album you uploaded for some days now, taking me quite some time, and when I’m done, there’s still all that interesting stuff in your “inspiration” links. Well, just wanted to say, awesome work, keep it up, and by the way, love how you deal with copyright owners.
