LP released 1980 on Blue Sphere Music (France)
First album in Galeshka Moravioff‘s ‘Musiques Plastiques’ series (see previous post for Volume 2). Extraordinary piano improvisations using awesome tonalities, for a music that is half minimalism, half George Enescu. Track #2 with its folk music patterns and angular chords is more in Bartok territory. Amazing LP.

Dear Continuo,
Thanks for this LP as well but there is a glitch in the second track (very noticeable around 4:00). The other tracks seem to be OK. Can you please re-up?
thx
Sorry about the unconvenience, but this is not a ‘glitch’ marring this LP. This is a ‘sizzling’, dusty record from 28 years ago and ripped by a reader of this blog, not by myself (I just taylored the file names and track endings, and de-cliked a bit here and there). The LP is admittedly a little dirty at 4:00 in the second track, but the mp3s are as good as can be. I assume the music is quite listenable, anyway. We definitely need a CD reissue of this.
Dear Continuo, thanks for the music! I write you from Buenos Aires. My name is Diego Maxi Posadas and I edit a fanzine called “Al Oído” to spread sound artist, musicians and music blogger compilers. I´d like to translate some of your blog articles or intros to include it in futures issues of Al Oído. You can see my blog and go to “Al Oído” tag (diegomaxiposadas.wordpress.com). Also, you can visit myspace.com/dospecesrojos (my musical work with Jerónimo Escajal). Saludos y gracias! Diego Maxi.
Hi Diego. Feel free to translate or repost anything on your own Al Oído blog, providing you make a link to Continuo’s weblog. Thanks for asking permission.
